In our previous article, we compared popular CRM systems and found that Planfix offers perhaps the deepest and most native social media integration on the market. However, when it comes to setup, clients often have many practical questions: Can I message first? Will my number be blocked? How do I connect a group chat?
In this article, we will break down the connection options for each popular messenger in detail, so you can choose the variant that best fits your business processes.
Key Integration Options
TelegramThis messenger provides the most technical possibilities for working within Planfix.
- Telegram Bot. The simplest and free method. You place a link to the bot on your website. The client clicks "Start" and writes their question — the inquiry instantly appears in Planfix, where the appropriate manager provides the answer.
- Telegram Groups. An extremely convenient format for working with existing clients. Planfix is linked to such a group; your company is represented by a manager or admin, while the client side includes all necessary specialists. Your expert (accountant, lawyer, or manager) responds directly from the CRM interface. This ensures strict control of regulations and the ability to set tasks directly from the conversation.
- Personal Number. Since Telegram does not offer an official way to connect a personal number, paid third-party services (e.g., A-sync or Integrilla) are used. This allows you to message the client first. For the client, nothing changes visually, but remember: a personal number is not intended for mass marketing broadcasts.
ViberThere are several specific points to be aware of beforehand.
- Personal Number. Connected via intermediaries. For stable operation, we typically use a combination of A-sync and E-chat services.
- Viber Business. The messenger provides an official broadcast service from a business account. This requires an intermediary service (e.g., TurboSMS), which has a ready-made integration with Planfix.
- Viber Bots. Standard Viber bots are currently paid on the messenger side, so we rarely consider this option now.
WhatsAppThe choice here depends on whether you are ready for official verification.
- Business Number (WABA). Connected via official integration with Meta. It is free on the platform side, but the setup process takes time. The main limitation: you can only initiate a conversation using templates approved by Meta.
- Personal Number. Connected via paid services (e.g., Integrilla). This is simpler, allows free communication without templates, but the number is not intended for advertising broadcasts.
